A "re-establishing” fraternity or sorority is one that was previously established at Rutgers University-Camden, but at one point in history became inactive as a chapter. This could have been due to a variety of reasons such as grades or low membership.
These organizations are actively working to re-establish themselves on campus and are able to interest meetings, participate in the Involvement Fair, collaborate with recognized student organizations and recognized chapters on programming, and more! Once they obtain their status as an established organization they will have the same privileges as our other established chapters which you can learn more about on our established chapters or policies pages. We want our fraternity and sorority life community to flourish and part of re-establishing a chapter requires bringing in new members. If there is a returning chapter you might be interested in we highly encourage you to learn more about that organization!
