Welcome to Greek Life
Fraternities and Sororities have made tremendous contributions to campus life since the first organization open their doors in 1845 and in 1951 on the Camden Campus. Since that time the fraternity and sorority community has offered a unique opportunity to help you develop into the person you want to be. At Rutgers-Camden, fraternities and sororities range from the “traditional” to historically African-American, Latino/a and Multicultural interest.
Our chapters host many activities ranging from mixers, Homecoming events, formals, Greek Week and various appreciation weeks. Community Service opportunities are plentiful and allow members to give back and make significant contributions to their host city, local charities and national philanthropies. Our strong alumni base assists members make business connections and our chapters all have strong academic programs. As a member, you will create lifelong friendships, strengthen academic skills in a small group, grow through leadership and service in a community with shared values, make valuable connections to the larger fraternity and sorority community and the University, and lastly, have fun!
